Just like in the natural there’s a coming back to routine, calendars, disciplines, over the last 16 years we’ve learned that there is a bit of a spiritual summer slump as well. Not less spiritual, just less disciplines, less focused, less routine.

Every August we set aside the month to get re-focused spiritually. It’s a time to recalibrate and get ourselves ready for the journey that is ahead.

So this month is a month of spiritual recalibration. We want to set our hearts on the things of God. We want to get dialed into Him, into what the Spirit of God is saying and doing in this season.
