Fifteen percent of Jesus’ teaching was on the subject of money and possessions, more than all His teaching on Heaven and Hell combined. Jesus spent time on the subject because He knew the whole area of money and finances was and is a difficult area for Christians to obey. Even though they know what Bible says, many Christians think obedience in this area is optional – that they can intentionally disobey the Word of God without any consequences.
