January 5, 2025
Adam Detamore
Message Description
What if at the beginning of the year, you could be revived yourself so that you can revive others? God doesn't just want to be fresh air for you, He wants you to be fresh air to everyone you come in contact with.

Message Notes

2 Timothy 1:16
“May the Lord grant His mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, for he often showed me kindness and ministered to my needs, comforting and reviving me like fresh air!”

The 4 Stages of the Doldrums

1. You start faking it.

Jeremiah 6:14
“They offer superficial treatments for my people’s mortal wound. They give assurances of peace when there is no peace.”

2. You start putting it off.

Hebrews 12:15
“Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.”

3. You give up.

Job 17:15
“Where then is my hope? Can anyone find it?”

4. You die.

2 Corinthians 1:8-9
“We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die.”

Deuteronomy 30:19
Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!

Three Important Choices

1. Fresh Air Practices

Psalm 1:2-3
But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night. 3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.

2. Fresh Air Places

Psalm 23:2-3
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.

3. Fresh Air People

Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
