John 13:3

When you don’t know where you’re from, you’ll struggle with identity.

When you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll struggle with purpose.

Knowing your destination fuels your determination.

John 14:2
“I go to prepare a place for you… that where I am, you may be also.”

Jesus wasn’t just going TO the cross—He was going THROUGH the cross.

We are headed for a BETTER country.

John 14:3
When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

Hebrews 11:13-16
These all died in faith… having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland… they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one.”

When you know the WAY, it defines your WHY.

John 14:5-6:
Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Let eternity define your identity.
