In the first week of Kingdom of Priests, we discover a new way to understand who we are in Christ. Following Jesus is about more than attending church, serving on a team, or simply trying to be a good person. Through Jesus, we have been called near to God and made part of His royal priesthood. We are not spectators or consumers; we are the King’s priests. We are invited to treasure His presence, minister to Him, and carry His presence into every part of our lives. This week, how can you intentionally draw near to God and offer your whole life to Him?

1 Peter 2:4-5
As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, 5 you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:9

9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Exodus 19:6
You will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation…

1. You are called near to The King.

1 Peter 2:4
As you come to him, the living Stone….

2. You are built into The King’s house.

“you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house…”
