Church = Gathering

Jesus didn’t predict a place he predicted a people.

When we say church, we think of a place & so we say things like:

“I go to church.”

“I went to church.”

“I didn’t like that church.”

The primary activity of the church was one-anothering one another.

Forgive one another – Ephesians 4:32

Accept one another – Romans 15:7

Care for one another – Galatians 6:2

Encourage one another – Hebrews 3:13

Submit to one another – Ephesians 5:21

Bear with one another – Colossians 3:13

Restore one another – Galatians 6:1

Carry one another’s burdens – Galatians 6:2

Love one another – John 13:34 

John 13:35
“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” 

The primary purpose of the church is to love one another.

The Church multiplies through relationships.
