John 1:35-38
The next day again John was standing with two of his disciples, 36 and he looked at Jesus as he walked by and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!” 37 The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus. 38 Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, “What are you seeking?” And they said to him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying?”

John 1:39
He said to them, “Come and you will see.”

1. GOD’S PLAN IS FOR YOU TO KNOW HIM

2. WE NEVER DRIFT CLOSER TO JESUS

Hebrews 2:1
Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.

“Am I intentionally moving toward Jesus?”

3. THE ANSWER TO DRIFT IS NOT SHAME… IT IS RETURN

James 4:8
Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.

John 15:4-5
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

4. THERE IS ALWAYS MORE OF GOD TO KNOW

Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.
