Tell The Story

December 21, 2025
Adam Detamore
Message Description
There’s an old quote that says, "You may be the only Bible some people ever read.” Whether we like it or not, people are watching our lives. They’re reading our reactions. They’re paying attention to how we talk, how we treat people, how we handle stress, and how we live when nobody’s watching. Take a few minutes to watch as Pastor Adam challenges us with this question: What story is your life telling?

“You may be the only Bible some people ever read.”

What story is your life telling?

Matthew 28:19
Go and make disciples of all nations.

Acts 1:8
you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere

2 Corinthians 5:20
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors.

1. Don’t block the light.

Galatians 5:19-23
When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. 22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

2. Let your piece be seen.

1 Peter 3:15
And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way.

3. Tell the story.

Isaiah 55:10-11
The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. 11 It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.

Romans 10:14
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?
